Happy International Women’s Day. Last International Women’s Day, we launched Ascend, our global Employee Resource Group dedicated to gender balance at Incora and across our industry. Since then, we have launched mentoring and coaching programs globally for our employees and have committed to filling 40% of our senior roles with women by 2030. This is a pledge we have made as part of our membership with the Women in Aviation and Aerospace Charter. Today, we will be hosting a webinar for our employees with keynote speaker Fiona McKay. Fiona is a recognized expert in professional and personal transformation. Together, lets celebrate the incredible women we have in both our personal and professional lives. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2024 #WeAreIncora https://lnkd.in/dXbJb6q

Women empowerment refers to the process of enabling women to have control over their lives, make their own decisions, and assert their rights in society. It involves providing women with access to resources, opportunities, and the support they need to thrive economically, socially, and politically. This can include initiatives such as education and skill development, equal employment opportunities, legal rights advocacy, and challenging gender stereotypes and discrimination. Ultimately, women empowerment aims to create a more equitable and inclusive society where women can fully participate and contribute to all aspects of life. Women empowerment within a logistics company involves creating an inclusive and supportive environment where women have equal opportunities for career advancement, leadership roles, and professional development. A logistics company can create an environment where women feel empowered to excel, contribute their talents, and achieve their full potential within the organization. This not only benefits individual employees but also contributes to the company's overall success and competitiveness in the marketplace. It's fantastic to hear about a high percentage of women in our company Having 70% representation of women in logistics is a significant achievement and demonstrates a commitment to diversity and inclusion within the sector. With such a strong presence of women, it's likely that the company benefits from diverse perspectives, innovative problem-solving approaches, and a more inclusive work culture. This can ultimately contribute to improved performance, productivity, and competitiveness in the industry. Keep up the great work in promoting gender equality and women empowerment in logistics! we are very happy to have women entrepreneurs as equal to the men at our organization... #womenempowerment #womanownedbusiness #women #womanowned #workingwomen

Founder @ Procurious Global Network for Procurement and Supply Chain Professionals Learning & Development
Every day in #procurement, women are asked questions that make them feel less valued and respected. This International Women’s Day, I want to help drive a more inclusive world for #womeninprocurement by highlighting some questions that I have been asked during my career that have left me feeling less than inspired 🙂 FYI - The campaign theme for International Women's Day 2024 is Inspire Inclusion. When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women. https://lnkd.in/g3CPZjDk #iwd2024 #inspireinclusion #internationalwomensday2024 Procurious

As we celebrate International Women’s Day today, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the incredible contributions of women around the globe and within the transport, logistics and supply chain sectors. Let us not only celebrate the achievements of women but also commit to ‘inspiring inclusion’, whilst creating a more inclusive and equitable world where each individual has the opportunity to thrive and succeed. Did you know that the supply chain function has the lowest share of women in leadership roles at just 13%, whilst little over one in five (22%) of transport workers are women. Read our latest article where we explore diversity and inclusion and how this can be embraced in supply chain and transport ➡ https://bit.ly/4c3P0eg #diversityandinclusion #iwd #internationalwomensday #wilat #womeninlogsticsandtransport #inspiringinclusion #ciltinternational #thoughtleadership #logistics #supplychain #transport

The theme for this year's International Women's Day resonates deeply. #inspireinclusion. It is a call for all to pursue actions, policies, and strategies that accommodate all women. For those of us in HR, it is an even a bigger task, it calls for us to look again into the company's policies, culture and work environment to check if they reflect the acceptable thoughtfulness for the female gender. I once worked in a company that did not intentionally accommodate some great thoughts toward the nursing mothers in the organization. Through intentional engagements and policy review exercise, I drove the conversation to ensure that the right practice is embedded in the HR Policy. So, please what actions are you taking today in your space to inspire inclusion? Nonetheless, shout out to great organisations, male colleagues, family relatives and friends who are intentional about the inclusion agenda for all women. #takeyourflowers. Happy International Women's Day to every woman out there doing her best. Seriously, you are doing so well. Keep shining. Keep winning. Your win is our win.#inspireinclusion #March8 #IWD2024 nene
