In 2023, nine of the charity’s Muscle Dream beneficiaries died. The average age was 19yrs. A harsh reality. For many young people in our community, #time is an incredibly precious commodity! Today I received an email from a previous client letting me know they have established a new charity in the Cancer space and will be looking for fundraising assistance in future. I genuinely wish them well, however do we need more charities and foundations? As someone who works for the NFP world, I am amazed at the duplication of effort, particularly in the administration of such fragmented space. The contradictory point is that the small charities often have a large impact at the grassroots root level. Maybe we need a shared services model that supports small charities and reduces duplication without limiting impact? Any thoughts ? #charities #duplication #consolidation
