I used to believe that procuring liquor on a dry day was a really hard task. But then I tried explaining and reminding ‘LinkedIn Recruiters’ about: - not fooling novice, innocent job-seekers by posting random hiring messages or jobs that don’t exist. - using other hiring strategies to attract top notch talent apart from the most effective ‘comment interested and we will review your profile’ strategy. - not posting hypothetical salary negotiation stories just to seek short-term gratification. Apparently, procuring liquor on a dry day doesn't seem like a challenge anymore. P.S.: Paa, if you're reading this, just know that liquor and its procurement has been used as a figure of speech here. #unprofessional Today I came across a Procurement job post by Hilal Foods (Pvt) Ltd.. Their HR, who responded to someone's comment, stating they are currently in the screening process. Ironically, I couldn't help but chuckle because I had shared my interview experience earlier, only to find that my comment was deleted by the HR after a few hours. It's disheartening to see such unprofessional behavior and a reluctance to face honest feedback. Here's what I originally commented: "I've been through their entire interview process from a telephonic interview to an in-person meeting, an assessment (Chocolate Packaging Designs and Mockups), and a final interview where we discussed salary expectations. I shared my expectations and was asked to wait a week for their decision. This all happened in June 2023. Unfortunately, despite the wait, I never received any response. This lack of communication reflects unprofessionalism. Every candidate deserves a response, whether it's a positive or negative outcome, especially after being asked to patiently wait." What's the point of investing someone's time if there's no intention to provide a response? Sharing this because my comment was deleted, underscoring their unprofessionalism and an apparent reluctance to confront candid feedback..
