Do you know the science behind play and how it can help the children in your life develop? #EarlyMomentsMatter UNICEF
Yes it is SO important. And eventhough most of us know we don’t really practice it (ofcourse we sometimes do). You see parents on their phone when we go to the playground or even when they play with Lego together with their kids. We see that pupils sometimes are allowed to be on their phone during recess at school. So it is very interesting to look into how we can engage and play together 😊
Thanks for sharing - all the skills that are developed during play are lifelong skills for every child.
Great message - Engage in play with your child as a playmate to support their development including problem-solving, social, emotional and creative skills.

Thanks for sharing It is true that play is crucial for children's growth and development. In Kenya's informal settlements, we need to reexamine the availability of playgrounds or play spaces for children. Many of our schools and households lack adequate play areas. If it is too late to make significant changes, we should explore ways to share existing public and communal play fields. Nonetheless, play opportunities will still be limited.
