Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled. Lived experience first responder, now a Mindful Breath Facilitator and Mindset Specialised Coach for Emergency Services, Corporate Training, Keynote Speaker and Strategic Consultant
You don’t have to experience trauma first hand for it to affect you. Acknowledging the impact and talking is key to recovery, even if you think you’re fine. Trauma can stay buried deep inside and manifest out over time with symptoms like anxiety, depression and addictions. Think of talking now as a detox that will benefit you mentally and physically later on.
We acknowledge that the impact of witnessing traumatic scenes through media can be distressing. This is especially difficult for children. It is crucial to encourage listening and open conversations to support each other through such times. To see our wide range of resources available, visit: https://lnkd.in/grzV2_D5

At Life Ed, we believe that every child deserves to thrive in communities where all people feel safe. That's why we support the voices calling for action to stop violence against women. The issue of family and domestic abuse and violence is complex. It needs to be addressed at all levels, with education being one important part of the solution. Find out more about our work in this area as we collaborate with schools, students and communities to encourage respectful relationships early, in order to embed lessons for life: https://bit.ly/3QKL3SL
