Those seeking a masterclass in the 'left hand, right hand' presentation technique being expertly demonstrated in the images below feel free to DM me. This was a great session, and what I thought was particularly good was the progression through the day as we moved from different local experts in waste management, covering the local authority role and services, innovative local companies doing more with waste, right through to waste management, traceability and end of waste....or not, in a truly circular economy >MASSIVE WINK<
Many thanks to the organisers of the City of York Council York Green Business Forum and the hosts at Spark York C.I.C. Great to talk about waste and ways to avoid it, reduce it, re-use it or otherwise get value out of it. As ever, great to partner with the Biorenewables Development Centre and present the work we did for York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub on mapping the waste systems, movements, types and weights in North Yorkshire and the potential valorisation opportunities that might present, which you can read about (in brief) at the link below: https://lnkd.in/dgwYAMAZ

Cowboy Clean Fuels has achieved a significant milestone by securing its inaugural Underground Injection Control (UIC) permit from the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality. This accomplishment marks the launch of an innovative project dedicated to carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and renewable natural gas (RNG) in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. Upon reaching full operational capacity, this project will have the capacity to sequester more than 150,000 metric tons of CO2 annually while simultaneously generating 0.7 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of clean and sustainable natural gas. The project's positive impact extends beyond environmental benefits, as it promises substantial advantages for the state of Wyoming as well. Economic forecasts anticipate the creation of 66 jobs and an annual addition of $36 million to the state's economy. Check here more about Cowboy Clean Fuels https://lnkd.in/egw8FPWA

Just one day after our Mack Point event last week, we celebrated a milestone at our Rensselaer/Albany terminal with a ribbon-cutting event to mark the expansion of renewable diesel supply to our Upstate New York market. This event was not only a wonderful opportunity to showcase our newly branded RD transport at the terminal, but it allowed us to work closely with some wonderful coalitions: League of Conservation Voters, Trucking Association of New York, Empire State Energy Association, and Teamsters Local 294. We'd also like to extend our gratitude to the following groups for their partnership and support in the expansion of this renewable fuel: Main-Care Energy, Terpening Trucking Co Inc., Long Energy, and Guy E. Nido Inc. Your collaboration is crucial in encouraging businesses to adopt lower carbon fuels and achieve their sustainability goals. 📽️ WHO ARE WE ? – Extract 8 : Legacy “From my experience, working with many lake owners, they definitely go for floating solar because it's simple. You have a standard 30 years lease that you don't need to renew every year compared to other agricultural or private activities. It creates positive legacy for future generations and directly contributes to producing clean green energy for the community.” ✅ In this final extract of our corporate video, Nathalie BIRAC, US General Counsel at Laketricity, talks about her experience with lake owners and the clear benefits of #FloatingSolar power not only for them, but also more globally for the community as well as for future generations. 👉 Stay tuned to discover our future videos and more content on floating solar soon! #Legacy #ClimateChange #water #RenewableEnergy

Tradition and innovation working hand in hand. Using land for solar use means far more than providing renewable energy. There's a whole host of benefits, which include still being able to use the land for traditional farming while also improving the biodiversity of the area. Take a look at this short video to get a glimpse into how this works on one our of our solar farms in Wales. The future is happening now.
