📌 Happy National Nougat Day!
Why am I celebrating this day?
Well, because it’s such a rich part of my culture.
But, also…wait for it…
Nougat is typically made by mixing egg whites together and adding honey or sugar, roasted nuts, and sometimes candied fruit.
In Italy, they call it torrone.
In Spain, a nougat is called turrón.
Now, I’ll shamelessly HR tie it all together:
Culture is critical, created and modeled by leadership! The buck stops there.
Here is the recipe:
🥣 Mix everyone together (focus on making meaningful connections and create opportunities for that to happen – yes, get up and walk and talk to those in your charge, as a priority).
🍯 Add honey AND sugar (focus on taking care of each other; empathy and kindness goes a long way; just do right by your employees whatever that looks like).
🍉 Throw in some nuts and fruits for good measure (focus on supporting and developing your teams; ensure everyone feels heard and given opportunities at all levels).
So…aim to be proud of the recipe you have created, the nougat that represents you, and reap what you sow in loyal followers!

Skip the loops, fast-track your career🏎️| Work with me, an experienced coach who combines theory with practical expertise to help you achieve your career goals.
About last Friday…
Every year, I make a resolution to spend the coming Juhannus at Mökki. Every year, this idea comes too late for me. Then all the Mökkis are fully booked, overpriced, or a 10-hour drive away.
So, every year, I go on a cycle tour that takes me into the outback, past lakes & Mökkis, where there is peace and quiet 🌳🚴🏼♀️.
This is exactly the moment when I make up my mind to spend Juhannus next year in a Mökki by the lake 😅😂.
Maybe I should just book now 🙄🙈😂.
Reflecting on these yearly patterns made me realise how often we delay our goals, not just for holidays but in our careers too. If you’ve been putting off your professional development, maybe it’s time to act now. Let’s connect and plan your next big step together!
What’s one goal you’ve been postponing, and what small step can you take today to move closer to it?

As the sacred month of Ramadan arrives, it's a fitting time to reflect on the profound universal values it embodies.
Ramadan is much more than a period of fasting; it's a time of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and renewal. The practices and requirements of the fasting month teaches us the power of patience, resilience, and the importance of community, reminding us that we are all interconnected.
The discipline of fasting is not limited to that of food and water- it extends to our thoughts, actions - and even our temper. The skill of managing these thoughts and emotions - also have a ripple effect in our personal and professional lives.
Imagine the impact on our personal and professional lives if we carried these values with us throughout the year. By practicing self-discipline, we can achieve greater focus and productivity. Empathy and generosity can foster a more supportive and collaborative workplace. Patience and resilience are essential for overcoming challenges and achieving long-term goals.
So take inspiration from Ramadan to cultivate these values in our daily lives - I do! By doing so, we can create a more compassionate, understanding, and productive world.
Have you ever indulged in the exquisite taste of Roohafza? If you're part of the Muslim or South Asian community, this iconic rose-flavored syrup likely evokes a rush of nostalgic memories. With its vibrant crimson hue and enchanting aroma, Roohafza has long been a cherished staple during Ramadan and beyond, symbolizing tradition, family gatherings, and the sweetness of shared moments. 🕌 🌙
Last Ramadan sparked my passion for storytelling in the digital realm. Inspired by the wealth of narratives within our communities, I was eager to delve into our cultural heritage. That's when I chose to create a video on Roohafza, aiming to uncover and share the rich history behind this beloved Ramadan staple.
In today's digital landscape, storytelling and #shortformvideo transcends mere content creation—it becomes a tapestry of identity, emotion, and connection. Through the lens of digital media, we possess the unparalleled ability to captivate audiences, immersing them in narratives that resonate deeply with their own experiences.
So whether you're a brand seeking to forge meaningful connections, a product aiming to carve out its place in the market, or a creator passionate about sharing your unique perspective, seize the opportunity to defy conventions. Embrace authenticity, innovation, and boundless creativity as you embark on your storytelling endeavors.
Let's reimagine the art of digital storytelling as a catalyst for change, #community engagement, and celebration.

Dear All,
As we gear up to celebrate the vibrant festival
of colors, I want to extend my warmest wishes to each one of you for a joyful
and colorful Holi!
This Holi let's remember to celebrate in an environmentally friendly way. While we spread joy and happiness with colors, let's also be mindful of our surroundings.
- Use eco-friendly colors made from natural ingredients like turmeric, beetroot, and flowers. Let's avoid harmful chemical-based colors that can harm the environment and our health.
- Opt for water-saving techniques such as using dry colors or limited water usage during celebrations. Conserving water is crucial for our environment.
- After the festivities, let's clean up responsibly. Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible. Let's leave our surroundings cleaner and greener than we found them.
- Spread awareness among friends and family about the importance of celebrating Holi in an environmentally friendly way. Together, we can make a positive impact on our planet.
May this Holi bring you all immense joy, love,
and prosperity. Let's celebrate responsibly and cherish the beauty of nature
around us.
Wishing you a safe and happy Holi!
Although July is often my holiday month, this year I have spent it learning about my new job and its business field at Kuohu Artesian Waters. I have literally jumped into the world of water and the complexities of drinking water. Water is not always just water 💧 💧 💧 😊
It's been amazing to learn about many different aspects of water, from bottling to end-user tastes. For example, did you know the impact of the mineral content in water affects the taste of different foods? Why some waters taste better than others? Or what does Artesian water mean? You will be hearing about these things from me later 😉
New job it's not only about the products but also about the team. Last week our new team met for the first time 😀 It was superb to get a proper orientation from our Managing Director Jenni Hamm in an inspiring environment in the middle of nature - and while drinking Kuohu. It's important to get to know my colleagues, company strategies, working methods, tools etc. and above all building the team spirit from the very beginning 💪 I’m all excited to be working together with my new colleague Minna Hämäläinen.
A summer's day is a great setting for both learning and building team spirit. I would recommend you all to take advantage of the opportunity of meeting outside while there is still summer left ☀ 😎 🌦

Hello Connection
I am here to tell you about grapevine communication and some positive and negative effect of grapevine communication
Grapevine communication is defined as unstructured and informal network formed on social relationship rather than organizational charts or job description. It is actually an informal vehicle through which message flows throughout organization.
Grapevine is a channel through which the actual communication between various troops of the organization takes place and gives out the desired outcome. Since it is unstructured and not under complete control of management, it moves through the organization in every direction.
It moves upwards, downward and diagonally within and without chains of command between workers and mangers, and even with and without a company.
Some positive effect of grapevine communication:-
1. Rapid transmission of information :-
Grapevine communication operates at a fast peace. Information spreads quickly among individuals, helping to keep people update on current events, changes in the organization or any emerging issues.
2. Flexibility in communication direction :-
Grapevine communication allows to flow freely in multiple direction upward, downward, horizontal and diagonal.
Some negative effect of grapevine communication:-
1. Misinformation and rumors :-
Grapevine communication is the potential for spreading in accurate information and baseless rumors.
2. Lack of accountability :-
Since grapevine communication is informed and anonymous in nature, it lacks accountability. People may spread information without taking responsibility for its accuracy or consequences which can lead to a breakdown of trust within the organization.
