Effective leadership doesn’t happen in a vacuum: Every great superintendent or principal is supported by an equally strong leadership team helping to distribute responsibilities, ask the right questions and flag critical pain points to support effective schools. For a fourth year, K-12 Dive’s Rising Leaders wants to highlight the stories of 10 exceptional assistant principals and district leaders. Do you have an assistant principal who goes above and beyond in building a welcoming school culture or ensuring all students and staff feel seen? Do you know an assistant superintendent who’s always ready to step up when thinking about how curriculum, discipline or school buildings themselves could be improved — and has innovative approaches for how to get there? K-12 Dive wants to hear about them: https://vist.ly/3589c

While summer might be a break in work and school for some, it’s actually a very important time for higher education administration and leadership. Summer provides administration and leadership the time to reflect on the previous year and plan and prepare for the new year ahead. It also allows for time to make strategic decisions, engage stakeholders, and set the institution up for a successful academic year. #highereducation #highereducationleadership #academicyear #summerbreak #higheredadministration #executivesearchfirm #schoolyearprep #recruiting #thursdaythoughts
