📢 Better integrating #walking and public #transport is key to enhancing active #mobility. The new policy brief by United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, WHO Regional Office for Europe and Walk21 Foundation, which was developed as part of the preparation of a pan-European master plan on walking under the Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (#THEPEP), provides insights into how to reach a higher share of people walking and using public transport. The policy brief shows that better integration of walking and public transport enhances the popularity of both active mobility and public transport while reducing the use of private cars. In addition, it has a positive impact on: 🔹 #Health and wellbeing; 🔹 #Climatechange mitigation, with a potential to reduce carbon emissions by as much as 50%; 🔹 #Social equity, with people of various generations and social status using public transport and walking more often; 🔹 Public space efficiency and increased reliability of all trips; 🔹 #Economic vitality due to active and public transport users spending more money at local businesses than people who drive; 🔹 #City resilience and #fiscal viability. Electric mobility is an essential tool in shaping sustainable mobility ecosystems in and around cities. Adequate, effective and attractive EV charging infrastructure requires an integrated approach between the field of mobility and the field of electrical grids. Technolution connects strategic and operational mobility management with strategic and operational electrical grid capabilities in the broader light of the energy transition. I'm sharing our approach and capabilities during the Smart Mobility Embassy webinar on Smart Solutions for Sustainable Mobility on the 12th of March, 09:30 CET. For more info and registration, see the link below. #Electricmobility #Mobilitymanagement #smartcharging #sustainable

A summer filled with milestones and breakthroughs! - We won one of Europe's first tenders specifically designed for supportive parking infrastructure for e-scooters in Bergen, Norway. 🇳🇴 - We secured 3 million SEK in subsidies from Drive Sweden for our scalable and modular mobility hub project, in collaboration with our supportive project partners TIER Mobility and Dott . 🛴 🚲 - Our soon-to-be-launched charging system for #escooters and #ebikes is now patent-pending. 🔋 The beauty of it is that it can be retrofitted onto all our previously delivered parking hubs, and it can also be installed onto similar concepts. 🚀 - We continued to supply both existing and new municipalities, as well as operators in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and the UK, with our non-tech equipped mobility hubs, surpassing a total of 1,700 units. 🅿 Our mission to truly empower micromobility continues. In the near future, we are set to provide cities and operators a tested parking solution, developed with an operator-first mindset. This innovation will substantially reduce operational costs for operators while giving users the best possible parking experience. Featured in the picture is our parking lab. #micromobility #mobilityhub #parking #urbanmobility #multimodality
