Other areas of economic activity must be given ample support and attention to ensure our economy thrives beyond and without the mining industry which has a lifeline.
The economy of Papua New Guinea (PNG) is expecting some favourable growth this year and next year due to positive outlook driven by improvements in the mining sector.

Many believe that gaining entry into the Philippine mining market is difficult and complex. I have summarized in the IMBECS Framework the issues and challenges faced by foreign and local mining companies. To some extent, it is true. But to us, managing these issues is what keeps the lights on and makes us enjoy the finer things. We enjoy diving deep into these problems. Therefore, I could say that it is a bit exaggerated. I am doing this for 30 years and proud of a zero-rate failure track record.

We need to fix the education system & culture and geopolitical issues in Africa if we are to comprehend the full value of technology.
Tech companies, should start investing in technical school all across African mining region. Sponsors this school with machines so that they start learning to fix and operate this machine in grass root level. Machine appreciation, technology & entrepreneurship should be taught in Primary, High, school & colleges. The end- user must have an appreciation for the technology.
