How are you at celebrating your wins?
The big ones, the small ones, the wins you gloss over as no big deal?
We so often focus on looking forward.
Focusing on what's next, and what is coming.
We have to fight against the grain to stay present.
We forget to revel in what we've accomplished and to enjoy the journey.
I am a work in progress when it comes to doing this. To reflect on what went well and acknowledge myself for the work I have done, whether it was a graceful process or an incredibly messy one.
And to be honest, most of us, experience the incredibly messy kind.
I'm working on changing my mindset on how I view myself and my achievements.
It is so hard to allow ourselves gratitude and praise, but I believe that it is vital to our own happiness and peace.
We have to learn no matter how big or small, every triumph, win and victory counts.
Today, I want you to stop and celebrate all that you are and all that you have achieved.
Find something today that you can celebrate.
It can be as easy as showing up to the gym, eating a nourishing meal, a compliment you gave someone, not yelling at your kids, ect.
There are moments everyday to be proud of and celebrated.
What will you choose to celebrate?
