Despite various efforts, 128 million boys and 122 million girls are still out of school, and 57% of the world’s children lack basic skills. If we continue on our current path, trillions of US dollars will be lost to economies worldwide by 2030. This emphasizes the urgent need to invest in education and skill development. What a global tragedy that 57% of the world's children lack basic skills. I am profoundly saddened that in 2024, there is such a huge deficit in educational opportunities and skills attainment.

We do understand the urgency and needs to act aggressively on human-centered and peace-building strategic ACTIONS. The price of INACTION is more costly than ever when investments in WAR, ARMS Sales, and DESTRUCTION overrule our Planet. STOP the WAR and invest instead in people and in our planet EARTH. Good luck.

This is heartbreaking. How can someone ever think that in 2024, the statistics of out of school children will be so high. There is therefore an urgent need for individuals, the government and communities to invest and priotise education at all levels, so that it will be accessible to all, which will inturn lead to development.
