Tactical Night Vision optics can be added to the following helmets:
To toggle the effect, press the N key.
There are two modes; Normal (Down Arrow) and Dark (Up Arrow).
Normal mode is for typical use case. Dark mode is for players using mods that make environments darker. Use at your discretion.
There is now also a settings holotape that lets users switch between the default intro and an alternate intro that is less bright for people who are more sensitive to light, as well as reset keybindings to their default setting. The holotape can be crafted at a chemistry workbench in the event that you lose one (only shows up if you don't have one on you). To change a keybind, first turn off the effect (this is very important), then refer to this list, open the console and type the following in sequential order. You can even copy/paste each line and simply replace the hashtag with the desired value:
Where "#" represents the key code in the list linked above. Keep in mind that any key already taken will be ignored by the game, so if it's not working after modifying the value, then you'll know why.
