No WAIT List! Do you feel like you are struggling, been treading water, floundering for the last few months, maybe even years? Have big life transitions- illness, career, marriage, divorce, care-giving, or just moving from one stage of life to another keep you up at night thinking about the worst case scenario? Do you drag yourself out of bed each day feeling like you are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders, and trying to figure out how you are going to do it all, and do it right? Do you ‘should’ yourself until your brain buzzes with an unending list of things that you aren’t doing and think you 'should' be.

My knowledge has developed from my extensive experience in the areas of mental and medical health, my education, and my lived experience with ADHD. I have grown into a strong advocate with a solid skill set in system navigation. If you are a person with ADHD and/or have a learning disability (LD), or are a parent supporting a child with ADHD and/or LD, I can help you navigate the education system through increased knowledge, understanding, confidence, skills, and strategies. As a therapist I am influenced by the Virtues Project, www.virtuesproject.com. We are born with all the virtues in potential & may need to balance, so if we are strong in assertiveness we may need to find our gentleness as well. In times of difficulties it is encouraging that we develop our virtues such as resiliency and strength to get through. Through the language of the virtues we strengthen our relationships & confidence. I love the concept that our virtues of patience, kindness and forgiveness need first to be applied to ourselves. For everyone of all ages, couples, parents & teens.

It focuses on issues that can be barriers to treatment progress, such as feelings of isolation, loneliness, social withdrawal, stress, family and relationship discord, untrustworthiness, lack of motivation, difficulty making decisions, and being overwhelmed. This group enables members to recognize that they are not alone with experiencing these issues and begin to build rapport with others and learn healthy coping strategies to feel more empowered in their lives and improve work and social relationships.

Do you want your life back? Intrusive thoughts, images, urges and behaviours alongside overwhelming anxiety can leave many people suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) wondering whether things will ever be different. You may have struggled for years with thoughts that you can't tell anyone about because they're so disturbing and culturally taboo. You might even wonder whether you have OCD at all, leading you to doubt yourself so severely that depression has also become part of your everyday.

Relocating to a new country can present challenges, particularly without a support network. Parting ways with familiar faces, places, and careers can evoke feelings of fear and loneliness. If you resonate with these emotions and experiences, our support group for immigrants/newcomers offers a secure environment to share your journey. Together, we foster resilience and discover hope as we navigate the obstacles and embrace this transformative chapter in our lives. Come, join us!

Sometimes life seems difficult, and we may feel like nothing is working. We may feel lonely, isolated, filled with self-doubt, depressed, anxious, overwhelmed, hopeless, and helpless. We long for connections, while afraid of being hurt. We hope that someone can listen to us and validate our emotions, suffering, and struggles; we hope to be seen, heard, and cared for. However, it can be scary to reach out for support, showing our vulnerabilities and not knowing how others will respond to them. My wish is to create a safe space for you to share your experiences, struggles, and emotions. I am here to be with you and listen to you.

How you feel, matters. Therapy isn't for someone who has it worse than you, you owe it to yourself to reach for the support you need to thrive. You could be looking for support during a difficult time or recovery after a difficult ending or experience. You might have some confusion as to why things are going wrong in your relationships, which you hope to strengthen or repair or end. Perhaps the pandemic turned life upside-down and you are finding your balance again. Maybe you feel disconnected, alone or have suffered in a relationship with someone who does and are looking for a therapist who can understand what's happening.

Asking for help is the bravest step you can take and I want to help you make the most of this courageous step forward. I specialize in adult ADHD and postpartum mood disorders. As a fellow parent (of 3) I know how this time can bring great joy and simultaneously be the cause of overwhelm. If you have ADHD know that it does not define you, but it does impact your brain processes. To be the person deep in your heart, the work starts from the inside out. Together, we'll make sense of your pain, learn transformative skills, improve functioning and self-regulation.
