I am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) from Colorado State University-Pueblo. With 10 years of clinical nursing experience in the psychiatric field, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including home care, military facilities, and inpatient psychiatric centers. My background in the military and underserved communities has honed my clinical skills and ability to build strong rapport with patients and families.

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 8 years of experience in mental health. I previously specialized in counseling teenagers and young adults and have specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I offer both medication management and counseling services to all age groups. Most of my appointments are offered virtually, providing convenience and comfort to clients throughout the state of Colorado.

TMS provider. As a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist (patients age 4-50) in practice for the past 9 yrs helping individuals lead happier more productive and satisfying lives. Collaboration is key in meeting the patient's objectives in treatment. My approach to medication use is conservative, it is an important part of treatment for many mental health issues but there are associated side effects which can come up especially as the dosage of medications are increased. Non-medication options we provide include Brainsway dTMS for treatment resistant depression and OCD.

Lauren completed her Master of Science in Nursing through Walden University.

At Peak Interactive Wellness, we aren't your typical psychiatric providers. We take a humanistic and positive psychiatry approach. We make medication decisions with you, not for you. I decided to pursue medicine and specialize in psychiatry because I love talking to people about their life experiences. Originally from Texas, he has lived and practiced in Texas, Pennsylvania, and now Colorado. Chad’s focus is in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry having worked with kids in inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and embedded in an underserved pediatric clinic. He has provided consult services at a children’s hospital and for a state-funded hotline for medical staff who had mental health questions regarding their pediatric patients.
