I am a passionate and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Master Addiction Counselor that specializes in working with individuals, and family members of individuals, who are struggling with addiction issues. The real work begins when we start to look beyond the external behavior and go into the internal condition that is the breeding ground for the negative and unwanted behavior patterns. My goal is to help one gain practical application skills and practices that will allow them to have a new experience with Life, themselves, and the world around them.

I love meeting people. - Which is good, because I would definitely be in the wrong field if that were not the case! Right now, I primarily serve an intersection of LGBTQIA+/Kink/CNM/polyamorous populations in both individual and relationship therapy. My clients are experts in themselves. Gabrielle Waters is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor in the state of Georgia who has 7 years’ experience assisting adults and children in areas of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and Trauma related symptoms. She focuses on Trauma Informed Expressive Art Therapy for sexual abuse, Domestic Violence, Physical Abuse, and other traumas. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clayton State University and received her Master of Arts in School Counseling from Capella University.

My experience as a former educator in General (13yrs) and Special Education (2yrs) has afforded me experience with working with many different areas of the family dynamic. My focus in working with clients is to help foster personal awareness, to draw out inner strengths, and provide tools to cope with life's challenges. I studied at Brenau University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I work with adolescents, teenagers, and young adults. I'm passionate about working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. I believe in partnering with my clients to assist them in understanding their emotions and behaviors. I am trained in cognitive behavioral techniques, and I like to use creative interventions in addition to open dialogues in session to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of my clients.
