My name is Mary Stinson and I am the owner of Sage Counseling Center. I serve teenagers, adults, individuals & families in the journey toward healing. I have been blessed with the honor of helping people challenge and overcome life's hardships, and I am continually inspired by the resilience of the human spirit when we are given the tools we need to be over-comers. My specialty is in the field of trauma recovery and I have extensive training and experience in resolving trauma symptoms.

As an out of network provider I do not take insurance. However, I offer a reduced rate/sliding scale fee for those with limited finances. Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor working with individuals, couples and families in a private practice setting. I work with adults and adolescents serving the greater Oklahoma City area. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am passionate about psychology and my work as a therapist. I love knowing how the mind works, how our emotions respond and what we are able to do with the strength of our mind. My education in Counseling Psychology allows me to offer various therapies and techniques designed to meet the needs of individuals, couples and families.

I am not accepting new clients at this time. I am a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT) who specializes in helping clients manage and navigate anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, interpersonal relationship issues, and other life challenges. My clients typically include individuals and couples. I provide ethical and evidence-based services designed to be client centered, and I utilize a collaborative therapeutic approach.

My goal is to work myself out of a job so you can live your life. I love what I do, I return calls on the same day, and my sessions often last the whole hour. I like to work with my clients with whatever they are bringing into counseling. I am Catholic and am happy to integrate Christian spirituality and if that is not a person’s preference I am also happy to provide just good solid counseling.

Angela K. Sanders is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oklahoma who has been practicing since 2017. Angela wants people to feel warm, accepted, and not judged for seeking help. She enjoys working with all ages, especially youth. Angela believes in the power of Mindfulness based practices and routinely incorporates them into sessions. She also trained in CBT, TFCBT, DBT, Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Person Centered, EMDR, and PCIT. Angela is a huge animal lover. She currently has two indoor cats, two outdoor cats, and a dog. She has also had everything from rabbits, to lizards, to a bird in the past.

Working in college counseling, community mental health, medical centers, private practice, and athletics has taught me that a transparent, honest, and supportive relationship between a client and therapist allows for difficult conversations that help move life in the direction you desire. As a Parent Child Interaction therapist, I believe the child, through their relationship with their caregiver, comes to form an appropriate understanding of their world and of themselves. I help the child understand their world through collaboration with their caregivers. Of utmost importance is the quality of the relationship between the child and their caregivers.
