Five schools and over 300 girls in Mosul added to the list! ⭐️ I had the privilege to meet with girls and learn about their dream majors and passion for different STEM careers. Some of them shared goals like ‘I want to study Programming’ and other ‘Cybersecurity’, which had me saying, WOW! they are aware of these fields!🤓 During the session, I asked questions about IoT, 3D printing, and Artificial Intelligence. Their answers amazed me and made me say, YES!Women have a bright future in STEM careers🥳 To make the sessions interactive and more engaging, I showed videos on topics like intelligent cities, what 3D printing is and how it works, and artificial intelligence and its usage in daily life. I also mentioned some hard skills in demand in the market, like design and programming, which are considered key for pursuing jobs in the future⚡ I explained how using analytical thinking can help us solve problems and drive innovation🧩 I also discussed with them how leadership skills have an impact on their abilities and can positively affect the community around them as well ✨ Last but not least, a big shout-out to everyone who helped make these outreaches possible! 🚀 From the Nineveh Education Directorate to the school staff who facilitated the workshops and supported us along the sessions🌱 WomEng #1MillionGirlsinSTEM

Our GirlEng team is in Palapye, Botswana, and what an incredible day it’s been! 🎉 We have just wrapped up the #AskAnEngineer workshop in partnership with De Beers Group where we connected with brilliant young minds and future engineers who are ready to change the world! 🌍 The energy, the curiosity, and the passion in that room was contagious. These young women asked all the right questions, got hands-on with STEM activities, and most importantly, left feeling empowered to chase their dreams in engineering. Here’s to building the next generation of African women engineers! 🚀💪🏾 #GirlEng #AskAnEngineer #WomenInSTEM #WomEng #Botswana #FutureLeaders #IgniteTheEcosystem
