This week we headed back to the Two Good Co. kitchen to collaborate, connect and most importantly, make a positive social impact. Two Good Co. are a social enterprise that support, empower and employ women with lived experience of homelessness, domestic violence and complex trauma. Along with our partner Revantage Asia Pacific, A Blackstone Portfolio Company, our 151 Property team members helped Two Good Co’s Work Work team prepare over 230 nutritious and delicious meals for the domestic violence shelters they serve across Sydney and the South Coast. Who is the better workforce in property – Gen Z or Millennials? This week our Managing Director, Marc Lucas, weighed in on this ever-topical question at The Great Debate, a fun (and slightly competitive) event hosted by Property Council of Australia’s Future Directions committee. Marc, along with his Millennial teammates Kaitlyn Davidson of Built and Nathaniel Jende of Allens, went head-to-head with team Gen Z, discussing all the big topics such as in person meetings, skill development, collaboration, idealistic vs pragmatic and social consciousness in the workplace. This weekend Australia is hosting its largest community tree planting and nature care event - Planet Ark's National Tree Day (Sunday 28 July). In support, our team came together for a tree planting at our industrial asset 66 Christina Road, Villawood. Teaming up with our partners at Revantage Asia Pacific, the team planted a variety of native trees and shrubs, adding to the now flourishing trees from last year’s efforts.
