A look inside our Adelaide Airport Runway Tour. Following the overwhelming success of our inaugural event in May 2024, last month we hosted our second Runway Tour, crafted for Adelaide's passionate aviation community. Our fifteen attendees had been successful in our Runway Tour Competition, the experience providing local aviation photographers the opportunity to capture content from our side of the fence, guided by our Airport Operations team. We thank our dedicated aviation community for their constant support and look forward to having this as an annual event for years to come.

Buck the Bear is back for our 70th Anniversary. 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ Beloved Adelaide Airport mascot Buck the toy bear, has been around our grounds since the early 1980s. On duty by the side of our runway for 23 years, Buck was so popular that pilots even alerted passengers to look out for him on arrival. In recent years, Buck has been enjoying retirement. Fortunately, he’s made his long-awaited return and is now back in action! Next time you’re taking off or touching down into Adelaide, keep an eye out for Buck and his party crew airside.
