In a market-first for a wrap platform, today North unveils its AI FileNote assistant for advisers. Angela Pidd, Garden Wealth Group financial adviser, was part of its pilot phase, sharing “North’s tool understands the nuances of typical client review meetings and financial terminology which gives it a distinct advantage over more generic AI solutions.” Edwina Maloney, Platforms Group Executive shared “We’re really excited by the disruptive potential of AI on North to improve efficiency and accuracy for advice practices when delivering advice at scale, without losing personalisation. “I’m so proud of you, mum” - Lizzie’s daughter We hosted a panel discussion for our employees on the important topic of domestic and family violence. The conversation was facilitated by our CEO Alexis George, joined by two of our frontline leaders, Toby Ellis and Krystal Le and special guest Yvette Vignando, CEO Mary's House Services.  AMP has an important role to play in ensuring we support our customers, members and employees in difficult moments of vulnerability and hardship. We know to be a part of the solution, we must be part of the conversation, and this event challenged us all to be brave and ask ourselves “what more can we do?” We heard the powerful story of one of our own, Lizzie Ward, who fled domestic violence, and who powerfully advocates on why it's important as a society we don’t shy away from this critical conversation. Lizzie shared how her leader and colleagues at AMP supported her throughout her journey, and the important role employment played for rebuilding her identity and financial independence.  We learnt that it’s small steps that can make a big difference. AMP has taken one of those steps, expanding our domestic and family violence support policy to include uncapped paid leave for any employee directly impacted by domestic and family violence.
