  • LCI is excited about the opening of Brisbane City Council's new Victoria Park / Barrambin Urban Pump Track. More than just a 260m pump track with skateable elements, this project introduces a range of amenities designed to enhance community engagement.   New shelters, seating, connecting footpaths, and beautiful landscaping have transformed the area into a vibrant destination for families and beginner to intermediate riders.   LCI completed electrical and hydraulic engineering design for the project that included sports lighting of the pump track, car park, and pathway lighting and decorative lighting to integrate into the greater Victoria Park precinct.

  • LCI Brisbane proudly collaborated with bureau^proberts on the Everton Park Library project, a valuable addition to the local community. Designed to seamlessly integrate with Brisbane’s lifestyle and landscape, the new facility enhances accessibility and functionality. LCI provided electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, fire, vertical transport, security, and ESD engineering consulting services. The expanded 1,100 sqm space was designed with a focus on sustainability, efficiency, and user comfort. One of the key challenges was optimising the facility while balancing environmental and community needs. Through close collaboration with our client, we delivered a modern, sustainable space that serves as a welcoming hub for the community.

  • Last week LCI celebrated International Women’s Day with NAWIC NSW and NAWIC VICTORIA at their inspiring events in Sydney and Melbourne. • In Sydney, The Great Debate tackled the vital topic of bridging generational gaps to fast-track gender equality in construction. Everyone was highly engaged in the debate and share a common mindset that there are still many improvements to be made. • Melbourne’s event emphasised the need to "March Forward" towards a future where women and girls are free from discrimination, with full access to their fundamental rights. Maree Davenport gave a speech of her inspiring career story as a woman who influenced policy and practice in the building and construction industry as the Chair of the Victorian Minister for Planning's Building Advisory Council and a Member of the Victorian Building Authority Building Appeals Board. Her journey faced multiple hurdles in a male-dominated industry, addressing the long road ahead for us all to March Forward in progress. These powerful messages align strongly with our commitment to driving equity across the property and construction industries. These conversations highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in shaping the future of our industry and women in STEM. At LCI, we are committed to fostering a workplace where talent is recognised, opportunities are accessible, and all voices are valued. While we acknowledge that progress is ongoing, we continue to focus on initiatives that support greater gender representation across all levels of our organisation. Together, let’s keep moving towards a more equitable, diverse, and forward-thinking industry. #LCIValues #GenderEquality #IWD2025 #DiversityInConstruction #MarchForward

  • 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗲𝗹𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱! We are excited to share that our Melbourne team has officially relocated to Level 17, 242 Exhibition Street, in Melbourne’s CBD on Wurundjeri land. This A-Grade office tower, originally designed and purpose-built for Telstra, provides 47 stories of premium office and retail accommodation, with 1,650sqm now dedicated to supporting our growing team. In collaboration with Concept Black, we have designed a workplace that embodies creativity, connection, and functionality. A key inspiration behind the design is the artwork of Indigenous artist Emma Stenhouse, whose storytelling is subtly included into elements throughout the office, seamlessly integrating culture and identity. Our new office is thoughtfully designed to foster flexibility and collaboration, featuring a 14-person boardroom, a variety of meeting rooms to support different working styles, and modern collaborative spaces that encourage teamwork. Additionally, dedicated spaces such as a mothers' room and a prayer room provide a sense of personal balance, while private offices ensure a quiet environment for focused work. A big thank you to our project partners: ·      Fitout: FDC Construction & Fitout ·      Interior Design: Concept Black #LCIConsultants #MelbourneOffice #BuildingDesign #SustainableSolutions #OfficeRelocation
