Red 5 Limited (ASX: RED) is an ASX-listed gold mining company that is uniquely positioned within the Australian gold sector – a major new Australian gold mine that is ramping up to full production. The 4.1Moz King of the Hills Gold Project was delivered on time and on budget, with first gold produced on 5 June 2022. The mine has a 16-year LOM plan based on a 2.4Moz Ore Reserve – making it one of the top 10 gold mines in Australia by Ore Reserves. Production in the first six years commencing 2022 will average 176kozpa with an AISC of A$1,339/oz. The Project is located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, approximately 25 km's from Leonora and 900 km's from Perth.

Good to see that with today's registration of the scheme booklet by ASIC, the transaction remains broadly on schedle for June 2024.

Red 5 Limited today announced its fourth consecutive quarter of gold production over 50,000 ounces. Red 5 produced 50.1koz in the March quarter, while cash and liquid assets increased to $58.3m and net debt reduced to $41.9m ($53.3m and $49.5m respectively in the December quarter).
