Today is #WorldEngineeringDay! To celebrate, we caught up with Sangeetha Kamath, who recently graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Civil) from the University of Sydney. The theme for #WED2025 is "Shaping Our Sustainable Future Through Engineering," and she has some great ideas on how to make it happen. When asked about the role of engineering in creating a sustainable future, she shared, 'Engineering will drive innovation in clean energy,' adding that there's a range of groundbreaking engineering research, initiatives, and foundations 'shaping a cleaner, smarter world.' Sangeetha knows that one of the biggest challenges in engineering today is "building a sustainable future in the face of climate change." We look forward to seeing how she uses engineering to drive change. Happy World Engineering Day! Thanks for sharing your engineering journey with us, Sangeetha. The future of engineering is in good hands with passionate engineers leading the way.
