Today we've launched an important new report, Sky High: What's really driving high costs and declining infill development. While greenfield development remains an important part of the housing mix, WA needs far more medium and high-density infill development to meet its housing targets and ease the housing crisis for Western Australians. This report unpacks some of the reasons infill development is falling well short of targets and provides recommendations to the WA Government that are designed to address the current economic barriers to more infill development. Congratulations to Wen Ru Ng (CBRE) for claiming the Property Manager of the Year title at the 2024 WA Property Awards! Starting her career as an Assistant Centre Manager, Wen moved on to roles like Finance Manager and Centre Administrator, gaining experience in Retail Customer Management and Asset Management. Currently, Wen manages two CBD retail portfolios, leading a team of six and focusing on asset repositioning and facilities excellence. Wen’s achievements include the refurbishment and expansion of a neighbourhood centre and securing a management agreement renewal for CBRE’s appointment of two CBD precincts.
