Today let's meet Hussam Saeid as one of our #HumansofDEEP. Hussam Saeid is the Information Management and Digitalisation Lead at German Red Cross (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz), with over ten years of experience in the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies - IFRC. During the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria, he recognizes DEEP played a vital role, allowing to share rapid and comprehensive reports in the early stages and provide crucial updates for response planning. He also points out that DEEP has been instrumental in other situations like the Libya floods and Morocco earthquake, keeping Red Cross teams informed and facilitating effective responses. As he says "DEEP has revolutionized our data analysis by providing a one-stop shop for managing, tagging, and analysing massive qualitative data. For sudden onset large scale humanitarian response in particular, DEEP is a game-changer. It structures secondary data reviews within a specific framework, streamlining our planning and information management during crises. This ensures everyone speaks the same 'data language' for clear and consistent communication and planning."

As part of our #HumansofDEEP, today we are happy to introduce Prinisha Baidya. Prinisha Baidya is currently working as a Data Analyst and Team Lead at Togglecorp. Her journey with DEEP began in 2020 when she worked on the GIMAC project for South Sudan. Since then, she has contributed to various projects such as IFRC Turkey, the IFRC Turkey-Syria Earthquake response, and the Sudan Crisis. She has also led several projects from Toggelcorp's side, including those for the Pakistan Flood, NRC Poland, and UNDCO. Over the past four years, she has been using DEEP almost daily. She has experienced DEEP's evolution firsthand, from its earlier versions to its current form, and appreciate how it has developed over time. She started her journey in DEEP as a tagger, then progressed to handling assessment registries, quality control and eventually moved into data analysis. She enjoys working in DEEP, finding it very interesting due to its numerous frameworks that help transform vast amounts of data into concise reports.
