Our Headquarters are located in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. The African Union (AU) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) concluded Consultations Towards the Convening of the Inter-Sudanese Political Dialogue. The four-day consultation held from the 9- 12 August 2024 brought together representatives of Taqadum, SPLM-North, SLM- Abdulwahid, Ba’ath Party, DUP, and PCP. It was a critical and inclusive political meeting aimed at developing ideas that would serve as an input into the planned inter-Sudanese Political Dialogue scheduled for later in the year. #Silencingtheguns #Agenda2063 #thhAfricaWeWant The AU/IGAD-facilitated inter-Sudanese dialogue is geared towards adopting a political programme driven by 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, to address the deep-seated issues that have plagued Sudan since its independence and return Sudan to constitutional order in the post-war period.
