Celebration of National Road Safety Month Fives Combustion Systems This January, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways 🛣️ in India announced a National Road Safety 🚦Month for 2025. This initiative aims to address the high number of road accidents in the country. To support this important initiative, different actions were implemented at Fives Combustion Systems. Employees notably took a road safety pledge to reduce the risk of accidents, and the Managing Director, Rahul Rajgor, addressed them all about the importance of driving safely 🏍, abiding by the rules, and ensuring everyone gets home safely. We are thrilled to take part in Back2School, a state-of-the-art technical training organized by Fives - Aluminium! 📅 From February 2 to 6, attendees from all over the Middle East will benefit from the expertise of Fives on aluminium smelters, emissions controls and 🔥 combustion systems. Our expert, Ricardo Gil Miguel, European Engineering Director of Fives North American Combustion, Inc., will teach a new class on combustion systems for casthouse furnaces. Over these past two weeks, our Fives European Combustion Centre in Piacenza, Italy, hosted two training sessions for 40 participants on industrial combustion systems. Each session included both theoretical and practical lessons. They covered key aspects of the flares operation, such as pilot burners, gas pressure settings, venturi system operation, flame signal control and more. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Fives Services Gulf, for enabling this fruitful collaboration, to aramco gulf operations, for the participation of 40 of their skilled employees and to our experts Andrea Mela and Mohannad AlGhamdi. A special moment of pride came during the certificate award ceremonies for all participants. Fives ITAS CEO, Francesco Giudici, who gave the diplomas, declared that "Training is the foundation for innovative and sustainable progress. At our Fives European Combustion Centre, we aim to foster technical excellence and empower professionals to treat the challenges of industrial combustion with confidence, precision and sustainability in mind”. We were honoured to host Mr. PRIYA RANJAN PRASAD and Mr. Pradip Kumar Dalal from Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd at Fives Combustion Systems facility in Vadodara, India. This visit was organized as part of a recent order that Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd placed for North American burners and skids. Their requirements included a solution able to provide: 🔥 Multi-fuel firing with a large capacity 🔥 Excellent reliability 🔥 High efficiency 🔥 Compliance with international emission standards Working in partnership with Fives North American Combustion, Inc. a leader in industrial combustion for the steel market with a large range of solutions, Fives Combustion Systems was able to offer a burner that meets all required emission standards as well the most stringent pollution control rules. This dual fuel-fired indurating furnace burner also guarantees high production and fuel flexibility to the customer.
