Even before starting his #PhD in COSBI, Elio Campanile has created contents: check out "Problems in Mathematical Biophysics", recently published by Springer in a special edition, focusing on broad-based applied mathematical work, including biology. The chapter he has participated in writing is titled “A Scenario-Based Study on Hybrid PDE-ODE Model for Cancer-on-Chip Experiment”, a qualitative study of an extended PDE-ODE hybrid model that reproduces the movement of immune cells towards cancer cells, based on experiments conducted on Cancer-on-Chip by Vacchelli et al. DMDG: Drug Metabolism Discussion Group 50th Open Meeting Heslington Campus East, University of York, September 2-4. It is with great pleasure that we announce that our Roberto Visintainer has been invited as a speaker. Formed in 1971, the DMDG is an informal World-wide association for scientists engaged in research and development within the drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics and related disciplines of the pharmaceutical industry. The membership spans 30 countries across 4 continents comprising pharma/biotech (60%), CRO (20%), academic institutions (8%) and technology companies (4%) with the remainder made up from consultants and regulatory authorities. Breaking: The Censis classifics for Italian Universities 2024/2025 declares Università di Trento again 1st in the class of middle-sized State universities! How does this work? It's the evaluation of State and Non-State universities based on available #facilities, services provided, #scholarships, level of #internationalization, communication and #employability. The #teaching rankings of the three year degrees are also available, single cycle courses and tow year master classes according to the career progression of students and international relations. Why do we at COSBI care? Because we have three full professors and one adjunct professor among our staff, and 11 alumni of the Università di Trento work with us. And further collaborations are on their way: PhDs starting 2024 are being selected right in these days and internships are already fixed!
