We are a team close to 200 people, working across three countries - Italy, Spain and UK, creating content and sharing experiences dedicated to a community of +11M women. Our multi-channel campaign was brought to life through 6 pieces of original content, featuring influential festival style creators who transformed into their festival persona with a little help from Batiste. The campaign combined trend led editorial with on the ground VoxPops at UK festivals - our strategy worked to cement Batiste as a reliable, expert product for everyone. Akousa Hanson is a feminist, journalist, Ghanaian activist, and creator of Moongirls. Moongirls is an African graphic novel that challenges the oppressive socio-cultural conditions faced by women, queer people, and other marginalised identities. The pop culture of African queer women is at the heart of her work: a choice aimed at encouraging cultural change, which, according to Hanson, is possible thanks to generational movements. Akousa Hanson is also a Creativity Pioneer, selected by the Creativity Pioneers Fund of the Moleskine Foundation, a fund that promotes and supports creativity for social transformation. From October 14 to 18, the Moleskine Foundation will host “A Creativity Revival” in Milan, the annual gathering of Creativity Pioneers from over 40 countries, to inspire collaboration and discussion on current issues such as mental health, women’s empowerment, and climate change.
