Today, we say goodbye to our dear colleague and friend, Darragh O'Carroll, who has spent 4 remarkable years in Stockholm, leading the Engineering sector across the Nordics. The good news is that Darragh isn’t leaving Enterprise Ireland. He will be transitioning to our London office, where he will take the lead on the Travel and E-commerce portfolio for Enterprise Ireland UK. Darragh will be greatly missed, and our colleagues in London are fortunate to have him! 🌟

Earlier this week, Susan B. and Jack Keady attended the Offshore Wind Forum at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. The event brought together thought leaders from around the world to discuss the challenges, opportunities, and insights within the offshore wind industry. This was a great opportunity for the Gael Offshore Network to meet and hear about global OSW opportunities. Irish companies are continuing to showcase their leadership on the global stage, with speakers from prestigious organisations like XOCEAN, TechWorks Marine , Green Rebel, Cara Offshore, Farra Marine Limited, Subsea Micropiles, and MMG Ocean sharing their invaluable knowledge. Arvid Nesse, CEO of Norwegian Offshore Wind, highlighted the latest trends in the Nordic offshore wind market and explored the potential opportunities for Irish businesses. Slush is Europe's premier start-up conference and last year's event was the biggest gathering of capital under one roof. Over the coming weeks we will be shining a light on the group of 20+ Irish companies who will descend on Helsinki - our biggest delegation ever! These innovative companies are excellent ambassadors for Ireland's thriving tech ecosystem, and we could not be prouder to be working with them over the coming weeks. Dennis Scheff represented Enterprise Ireland at Industrial Future Summit, organised by Combient Foundry at Artipelag in Stockholm last week. The event brought together industry leaders, startup founders, and key ecosystem players, providing an excellent opportunity to form partnerships, share knowledge and facilitate investment exploration.
