Ashe Labourer Richard has been awarded the SQPC Safety Champion for March whilst working on our project at the Charities Hub in Milton Keynes. Richard has a brilliant attitude towards health & safety and is proactive in maintaining the high standards required on our sites and keeping welfare areas clean and tidy. He is usually the first person visitors will see on site, and his friendly and helpful manner helps promote a positive first impression. Keep up the great work! #AsheGroup #buildingbetter

Ashe Roofing is proud to announce the successful completion of another project in partnership with Artelia UK for Hertfordshire County Council. The project which spanned 19 weeks, resulted in a highly positive outcome with the school expressing great satisfaction. Headteacher Kate kindly awarded us a 10/10 in all aspects of the project. She stated, "Lee and the team have been brilliant. It has been such a smooth and easy project, carried out at what could have been a very difficult time. All our concerns and issues were dealt with promptly and within the needs of a working school. All of the men interacted safely with the children and engaged in their conversations – I think we have some budding builders and drainage people in the making – despite being only 3! We really would like to thank them." #AsheGroup #buildingbetter #roofing

It's fantastic to see our project at Gilbert Hitchcock House progressing well in Bedford. Procured through the Pagabo Major Works framework, works will enhance access to healthcare and vital diagnostic tests. Helping diagnose and treat for serious illnesses like cancer, heart disease, and strokes. Around 400-600 appointments currently take place in the building each day so the project will be delivered in two phases to ensure existing services can be maintained throughout the works. Keep an eye out for more updates on this project. Client: Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Architect: Roberts Limbrick #AsheGroup #buildingbetter

We recently welcomed two students from Bedford Academy to join our site team for a day’s work experience as both students are due to enrol in a bricklaying course at Bedford College in September. The students spent the day with experienced bricklayers on the new expansion building at Bedford Academy who gave them a crash course in bricklaying, providing tools and materials for them to build their own wall. Wishing them both all the best in their future studies! #AsheGroup #buildingbetter #workexpereince

As part of our social efforts for our project at North Block for Stevenage Borough Council we recently donated £1,000 to local charity Anne Robson Trust. The trust said: “The Anne Robson Trust are grateful to Ashe Construction for investing in our work to support people facing the end of their life. We believe no one should have to die alone. Your donation will help our small Stevenage-based charity to get companionship and support to people at the end of their life, when they need it most. In their last days and hours, people will have the unhurried presence of another person to sit with them, listen, or simply hold their hand.” #AsheGroup #buildingbetter #socialvalue
