We are delighted with the official opening for the Sandhurst facility which was procured using the SCAPE Consultancy framework. Congratulations to everyone involved in this fantastic project 👏
We were delighted to attend the official opening of the new home for The Royal Corps of Army Music at Sandhurst, formally opened by HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh GCVO on 23rd January. The c£12m facility, named The Duchess of Edinburgh Hall, is a state-of-the-art facility offering world-class amenities to support Army musicians. This project was a truly collaborative effort between Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), the Army, Pick Everard, Perfect Circle, Willmott Dixon, HLM Architects and SCAPE. The new and refurbished buildings feature an instrument store, music library and rehearsal rooms, as well as offices, storage, changing rooms, and a crew room that will support Army musicians to prepare for performances such as passing out parades and Sovereign’s parades. 🔗https://lnkd.in/dTYVH3rE 📷 Photography: Crown Copyright #TeamSCAPE #OnePerfectCircle #DeliverBetterTogether

Marefair Heritage Park will feature: 🌳 Beautiful green spaces ⚽ A dedicated play area for families 🌼 A community garden to bring people together 📜 A heritage timeline celebrating the town’s rich history 🚶♂️ Pathways and enhanced lighting to improve connections to nearby historic buildings This project will be constructed on the old Chalk Lane car park, which forms part of a larger gateway initiative aimed at strengthening the links between the town centre and train station, enhancing accessibility and driving greater footfall through the town. This time, we were thrilled to support two incredible East Midlands-based organisations: Footprints Conductive Education Centre and PASIC - Cancer support for children and young people. Throughout 2024, our amazing colleagues and partners have been busy baking, golfing, quizzing, and more, all in the name of a great cause. We're delighted to announce that we've raised an impressive £27,442 for these two charities. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this fantastic achievement 🎉 In the coming weeks, the SCAPE group of companies will be selecting a new charity for our team to champion in 2025. 🚨 Legislation update - From 24th February 2025, all public sector and utilities organisations will need to comply with The Procurement Act 2023. The Act outlines the legal requirements for ensuring that procurement is compliant, competitive, and effective. It also provides guidance on how this will be measured, along with secondary legislation and government advice. We recognise that changes to procurement law can be overwhelming. That's why our Procurement Director John Simons has teamed up with Peter Ware from Browne Jacobson in our latest blog to break down the key changes you can expect as we transition from the current regulations👇 To find out what this means for you and steps you can take now to prepare ahead of the Act's implementation in February, check out our summary ➡️ https://lnkd.in/e9EEcUBR #Procurement #ProcurementLaw #ProcurementAct #Frameworks #Compliance
