Our first supply chain workshop of the year was such a success! Huge thank you to all who joined us at Southborough Town Council's Civic Centre this afternoon. With a focus on our Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with the University of Kent, we hope this has helped everyone to understand more about what we are developing and how continuous collaboration can create better things. Special thanks to Digital Collaboration Data Scientist Michael Chiu, PhD, Technical Manager Matthew Barker, and Digital Collaboration Support Pooja Polina for delivering such an insightful presentation. A brilliant turn out and some great conversations had, delighted to be able to hold our supply chain networking sessions in one of the buildings we built! See you all at the next one 🤝 #buildingsbuiltonteamwork #doingitdifferently #teambaxall

👩🎓 Maidstone Apprenticeship Fair 2025 👨🎓 Special thanks to Harry Jenkins, Oliver Noctor and Reagan Williams for manning our Baxall stand all day, and Contracts Director Stuart Hardie for popping in too. Another successful Apprenticeship Fair at Mote Park Leisure Centre, supporting the local students and on hand for construction careers advice. It was very well attended, with several students interested in work experience opportunities, and many conversations had - it was a very busy day for the Baxall team! It was also a fantastic opportunity to market our next Baxall Open Day this October, and we're pleased that so many students and teachers are looking forward to attending. Thank you to the teachers and career advisors that took the time to talk with the team and provide such positive feedback on the previous years. Complimenting the professionalism and knowledge of the Baxall staff and expressing how insightful this has been for their students. A great event hosted by the local MPs - Katie Lam, Helen Grant OBE, Helen Whately MP, Laura Trott and Tom Tugendhat. We look forward to the next one! #buildingsbuiltonteamwork #teambaxall #doingitdifferently

Thank you to G4C Kent for organising the DOCKING STATION event last Thursday! Our Contracts Director Chris Tompsett and Design Manager Alek Georgiou joined the University of Kent's Project Director Caroline Dennis to present on our latest project at The Historic Dockyard Chatham. With the talk consisting of the project details - from its intricacy due to being Grade II-listed, the various ways it will support its local community, and the solutions devised as a collaborative team throughout - to the University's journey to fund and create this project. We're delighted to hear how insightful everyone found the evening and are proud to be supporting the next generation in construction. Thank you for having us, thank you to all who attended, and thank you to AIMIS for sponsoring the event! #buildingsbuiltonteamwork #doingitdifferently

🏘️ 'Best Retrofit Innovation or Project' - Finalist! 🏘️ Together with Tunbridge Wells Borough Council we're looking forward to the Housing Digital Innovation Awards 2025 on the 12th February. The objective was to retrofit to the highest standards – and in line with the Council’s Net Zero strategies – 4 dilapidated Victorian townhouses within Tunbridge Wells’ conservation zone. The premises needed urgent refurbishment to transform them into comfortable accommodation and meet local housing and homelessness needs - including supporting Ukrainian households from the Homes for Ukrainian scheme. In addition to achieving sustainability targets, the Crescent Road project has reduced the Council’s reliance on costly private sector accommodation and boosted the properties’ capital value above TWBC’s initial investment. Good luck to all the finalists, see you on the 12th at The ICC Birmingham! Digital Housing #buildingsbuiltonteamwork #doingitdifferently
