Launched in 2019 by motoring journalist Neil Kennett, Cars of the Future provides news and views about self-driving vehicles in the UK. It was inspired by the overwhelming response to his 2018 long-read article Autonomous Now in IMI Magazine. For supporters, connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) are a giant leap forward for mobility and road safety. For detractors, they’re a nightmare mix of cybersecurity and ethical concerns. Whatever your opinion, their introduction seems inevitable. Our mission is to chart the development of, and encourage debate about, all aspects of self-driving cars.
