PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: KENSINGTON, LONDON We’re proud to reflect on a remarkable Residential Refurbishment and Extension project completed in the heart of Kensington. This redevelopment included the addition of a brand-new Basement Level and was thoughtfully designed by smok Ltd to marry contemporary design with the timeless elegance of the property’s original character. The interiors were carefully curated by Vanessa Van Reyk, who delivered bespoke designs that seamlessly combined functionality with enduring style. This project transformed a terraced property into a luxurious four-bedroom, four-bathroom family home. Extensive underpinning works supported the structural alterations, allowing for the creation of exceptional spaces, including: - Formal and informal living and dining rooms - A spacious family kitchen - A gym, games room, office, lift, and wine room - Elegant marble finishes in the bathrooms and intricate joinery throughout A beautifully landscaped garden complements the open-plan kitchen, blending indoor and outdoor spaces to create an inviting setting for entertaining. PROJECT SPOTLIGHT: ST JOHN'S WOOD, REGENTS PARK, WESTMINSTER. Taking a look back at this remarkable 1,200m² home located in the prestigious St John's Conservation Area. This extensive project transformed the property into a stunning five-storey residence, complete with rear and side gardens, and two two-storey mews houses. The existing footprint of the home was doubled by an impressive basement extension that extends 8m into the rear garden. The project included a full refurbishment of all floors, blending modern luxury with the character of this historic area.
