Plans submitted for Passivhaus homes in Salford We've submitted plans for a further 42 #affordable, #Passivhaus homes at Crescent Salford. Designed by dRMM, the new homes will form part of #AdelphiVillage, a #community to the east of the River Irwell, and one of six zones that make up the £2.5bn Crescent Salford masterplan. Residents will benefit from reduced energy bills of up to 90% compared to traditional housing, a comfortable living environment, enhanced ventilation, and sustainable design and build. Agreement to accelerate Greyfriars regeneration We've entered a new agreement with West Northamptonshire Council, via Muse, taking the next step towards the #regeneration of #Greyfriars in #Northampton town centre. The vision is to create a vibrant new #neighbourhood, reimagining derelict buildings into an #artsandculture hub and innovative #workspace, alongside new homes, shops, restaurants, a new outdoor amphitheatre and public spaces. We have already been working with the Council to explore and shape planning, delivery, and funding for #Greyfriars. This latest agreement enables us to develop more detailed strategies ahead of entering into a formal #DevelopmentAgreement later this year. Crescent Salford presses ahead Plans have been submitted for a new state-of-the-art #Acoustics Building which will bring world-class #research facilities to Crescent Salford’s #InnovationZone. Housing the research, commercial and teaching activities of The University of Salford’s Acoustics Department, it represents a key milestone in the creation of #CrescentInnovation, following work commencing on #SalfordRise. #CrescentInnovation will build on existing research and development capabilities to drive further #economicgrowth in #Salford and facilitate enhanced links between academia, research and business. Major milestone for Bradford City Village We’re delighted to announce that Bradford Council and ECF, via Muse have signed a development agreement to kick-start Bradford City Village.    A flagship, #sustainable community set to redefine Bradford city centre, this project will deliver:  ✅ Up to 1,000 new homes (including affordable housing)  ✅ Three vibrant community parks and public spaces  ✅ Independent shops, cafes, restaurants, and business spaces  ✅ A walkable, eco-friendly neighbourhood designed for future generations    City Village is set to be one of the first examples of devolution in action – delivered thanks to our collaborative #partnership with Bradford Council, Homes England and West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA). Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire, said: “Thanks to partnership working and the power of devolution, we’re unlocking millions of pounds of investment to regenerate communities, raise living standards, build more homes and grow our economy. Bradford City Village will be a gamechanger for West Yorkshire as we work to build a stronger, brighter region.” Bradford Council Leader Cllr Susan Hinchcliffe said: “This is an exciting step forward in our vision to create a healthy, sustainable and friendly neighbourhood. City Village is a transformative regeneration programme which will re-define the city centre. Whilst housing is at the heart of these plans, City Village will also create opportunities for new independent retail, cafes, bars and business spaces in a city that in 2025 will become the UK’s number one cultural destination."
