    Seven new colleagues joined us at Footballco during June and July, including new starters in the US and UK. Want to know more about them? 👀👇 Celia B. - Senior Editor - USA Celia joins us with one of the best on-pitch CVs at Footballco. A collegiate soccer coach, journalist and content creator, Celia helped Columbia earn its first NCAA tournament victory and played at the University of Albany as Captain, among other highlights. As a writer and content producer she’s worked across NBC Olympics, TeamSnap, Just Women’s Sports as well as MLS and the NWSL. Liam Federico - Account Manager - USA Liam joins Footballco following a career across the world of entertainment built upon strong relationships both externally with clients and internally across teams. Raheem Taylor-Parkes - Host and Talent Coordinator - USA Raheem has been the face of the US team’s video output for a while, has now joined full-time. He can still be seen across our video output, while offscreen his main interest if fashion. Cher Beckles - Production Supervisor - USA With a background in entertainment and commercial production, Cher is the latest part of our growing US production team. When she’s not working, Cher can be found playing the steel drums with her band, catching up on Trinidad and Tobago’s Soca Warriors or sharing popcorn with her cat. Apparently cats eat popcorn, who knew? Alex Labidou - Managing Editor - USA Like an editorial Phil Jones, Alex has rejoined GOAL after serving as deputy editor of GOAL USA between 2011-2013. Since GOAL, Alex has worked across ESPN FC, NBC Sports as well as the Brooklyn Nets, Denver Nuggets and the National MS Society. Now glad to be back working in the world of soccer, Alex still has time for other sports and is a huge Jets and Yankees fan. Fabrizio Gardinazzi - Programatic Sales Lead - Italy Fabrizio has more than ten years of online advertising experience behind him, working across global agencies. He can also be found on the pitch as he’s an experienced referee. Away from football, he cooks a mean risotto and is a salsa dancer. Charlie Williams footballco - Head of Ad Ops - London Charlie has more than a decade of media operations experience behind her on both agency and publisher sides. She also likes to get away from screens and enjoy the outdoors. She loves hiking with her dog or exploring new trails on her mountain bike.

    Hotel MUNDIAL was more than #Euro2024 watch parties on a massive screen; it was an event space that felt like it existed in a universe of its own, with something for everyone. It also did crazy numbers.... 🙋♂️ 4,300 fans through the doors 📈 10.6m reach on MUNDIAL - 35m included earned media! 🍺 6,775 cans of lager  🥶 403 slushies  📸 24 influencers 🎧12 podcasts and panels  📆 7 days of action 🚐 1 guy from Dawlish who slept in a camper van ❌ 0 pints thrown The MUNDIAL team hosted panels with industry heroes like Elis James and Statman Dave, helped school kids create zines with Football Beyond Borders, and hosted a co-working day that brought together brands and people from across the football media community. We were also supported by amazing brands, including Xbox, Marriott Bonvoy, Allpress Espresso, Dom’s Subs, Daily Paper, Reebok, and schuh. Thanks to everyone who was involved, came along and made it special.
