Inspiring to see our CTO, Russ Dunn—who also chairs the Hydrogen in Aviation alliance—championing the UK's potential in this sector.
A busy day in Westminster for Hydrogen in Aviation! 🛫 This morning, our Chair, Russ Dunn, met with Aviation Minister, Mike Kane MP, to discuss the UK's opportunity to establish the first hydrogen-powered commercial flight routes. These first routes would showcase the UK’s world-leading technology in operation. This has huge potential to accelerate growth, create high-skilled jobs and reduce emissions while continuing to connect people across the UK and the globe. 🌏 With industry laying the groundwork, Government support is now vital to delivering these first routes for the UK. We’re grateful to Mr Kane for his continued support, following a roundtable he hosted with us last year. We look forward to progressing our work together to unlock the full potential of hydrogen-powered aviation. Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom #Hydrogen #Aviation #Decarbonisation
