We are working in partnership with London Borough of Hillingdon to transform the heart of Hayes Town Centre and Avondale Drive, delivering much-needed housing and public spaces to the community.   The first phase includes 110 new homes, with 80 homes located at Hayes Town Centre and an additional 30 properties, here at Avondale Drive. Once fully completed, the two developments will provide a minimum of 740 new homes across social rent, shared ownership and private sale tenures. The delivery of affordable homes has been prioritised in the programme, helping to address local housing needs promptly.  #newhomes #community #affordablehousing #regeneration

It was a pleasure to recently attend City and Islington Academy's Career Path Assembly/Careers Day, and speak to Year 11 students alongside representatives from other organisations. Melissa, our Social Value Coordinator shared her educational journey and path into the construction industry, offering a glimpse into what it’s like to work in the industry. She also highlighted the exciting work experience and apprenticeship opportunities available at Higgins, helping students explore their future career options. The session wrapped up with a lively Q&A, where students had the chance to ask questions and gain valuable insights. Yesterday, we had the privilege of attending a mock interview session at Oasis Academy South Bank, organised by the team at Construction Youth Trust.  Our volunteers engaged in rotational mock interviews with students, providing a realistic and supportive environment to help boost their confidence and refine their employability skills. This initiative aligns closely with our Somerleyton project at Lambeth, showcasing our commitment to supporting local young people and fostering career development opportunities within the community.
