Earlier this week, Hydrogen UK hosted an insightful Member Briefing at the offices of Shepherd and Wedderburn, legal experts in the energy sector. The session explored the regulatory, policy, and funding hurdles facing hydrogen project development, and the challenges in growing a new industry. Chaired by our CEO Clare Jackson, our panellists of experts included Jamie McRorie & Craig Whelton from Shepherd and Wedderburn, Dr Tanja Groth, SHINe, and Carolina Romero, HDF Energy who shared valuable insights on the challenges of navigating the regulatory hydrogen landscape. We then heard from Nigel Holmes, CEO of Hydrogen Scotland and Margo Maciver from The Scottish Government, who highlighted Scotland's commitment and pivotal position in developing the UK's hydrogen industry.
