🚨Engineering ‘could face an NHS-style workforce crisis’ without urgent action on skills. The success of all eight target growth sectors in the UK Industrial Strategy—from clean energy to advanced manufacturing—depend on engineering. However, without a skilled workforce, these ambitions are at serious risk. We support the National Engineering Policy Centre’s call for a National Engineering and Technology Workforce Strategy to tackle these challenges by: - Expanding STEM career support. - Developing flexible, modular qualifications. - Improving diversity. - Encouraging lifelong learning. 📢 Read our full report here: https://lnkd.in/e2UPSGs6 Together, we can secure the talent pipeline needed to drive innovation and economic growth.
