👋 Meet our new volunteer mentors! 👋 On Saturday, our Riverside Youth Hub was buzzing as our new cohort of volunteer mentors got stuck into the first day of their free mentor skills training. We loved meeting everyone and can’t wait to deliver the final training session this weekend before matching our new volunteers with their mentees. Once paired, our mentors will receive ongoing support from their dedicated practitioner, with our team available Monday-Friday from 9am-9pm, for any additional help they may need. 💡 Want to join this brilliant group and help change young lives? With more and more young people seeking 1:1 mentoring, we’re looking for kind and open-minded adults to become volunteer mentors. 🌿 Walk for wellbeing – Join us for The Re-Balance Bath Festival! 🌿 We’re so excited to continue our collaboration with The Bath 5k Map and Off the Record Bath and North East Somerset this year. Thank you for an incredible year supporting young people! As we head into the festive break, we want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you for supporting us this year. Your kindness and generosity has enabled us to continue our vital work with young people, supporting hundreds of children aged 5-25 through mentoring programmes, youth clubs, and activities. Thanks to your support, over the last year we have: ✅ Provided 1-1 mentoring support to 327 children and young people. ✅ Hosted 164 youth club and activity sessions with 670 attendances. ✅ Worked with 49 volunteers to mentor and inspire young people. ✅ Empowered over 70% of mentees to feel safer, improve their confidence, and build communication and social skills. Your generosity, whether through time, energy, or donations, has made a tremendous difference. 💫 Thank you from all of us 💫 Your support means the world to everyone at Mentoring Plus, including the Trustees, staff, volunteers, and most importantly, the young people we work with.
