⭐ Team Member Tuesday ⭐ Highlighting those members in our Team who play an important part in helping drive us forward. Melissa joined our team in March 2023 and works within our Travel department. With a German mother and British father, travel has been a big part of Melissa’s life from a young age and it was helping to plan a family backpacking trip that fed her passion for planning new adventures and exploring the world growing up. From organising travel for interviews, marketing events, and new business ventures, to getting our race team around the world during a hectic F1 season, Melissa’s vital efforts ensure that team members are always where they need to be and when. Simply put, we could not do what we do without the work of Melissa and the travel team. When reflecting on what makes the team so special, Melissa said: “My colleagues are fantastic – the camaraderie, the knowledge-sharing and the collective push towards common goals – it just makes my job so enjoyable.” #Teamwork #EmployeeAppreciation #Travel #MercedesAMGF1 #Formula1

She was so proud.” Annabel’s journey from sixth form to Imperial College London is one of resilience and ambition. Growing up in London, her mum, who emigrated from Ethiopia, instilled in her the value of education and the drive to aim high. Through her Zero Gravity mentor, Annabel gained not just academic support but also the confidence to believe in herself. “That personal belief, that confidence in yourself, is something I didn’t have entering sixth form. Zero Gravity gave me the confidence to push forward.” Now thriving at Imperial, Annabel’s scholarship - powered by the Mercedes-Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team - is helping her cover essential costs, from living expenses to her first laptop for independent study. “It’s crazy to think that what started as help applying for university is now helping me fund my course.” Annabel is part of a generation of ambitious, socially mobile students who are smashing through barriers and reshaping what’s possible.
