Concept to Completion #3 – Lights, camera, action at Butlin's. Next up on our journey from concept to completion is Butlin’s showstopping workplace in Hemel Hempstead. They needed a space that captured the spirit of adventure, with a design concept inspired by their "Home of Entertainment" theme that exudes colour and playfulness. “A brand full of energy, vibrancy and colour. The brief was to bring the feeling, the essence of Butlin’s, into their new office. Sorting donations with a smile at The Baby Bank, Windsor.🧸 Last week, seven volunteers visited The Baby Bank in Windsor, a local charity that provides essentials to families in need. The organisation collects good quality second hand clothes, toys and furniture to support families across Berkshire, distributing newborn starter kits, essential supplies, clothing bundles and school uniform to those who need it the most. The team spent the day helping out at the donation centre, sorting through the generously donated items and ensuring each one is in good shape, ready for its new home. The Baby Bank is a community run organisation that relies on people’s time and compassion to keep going, so it was a privilege to be able to support a great cause in their pursuit of giving children the best start in life. Take one look at Cambiaso Risso Group’s new office and you’ll see a stunning workplace with framed views of London, but look closer and you’ll find subtle design elements that work cohesively to reflect their unique identity and rich heritage. #1 - A bespoke joinery piece forms the backdrop to their striking reception area. Its organic lines, inspired by the fluidity of water, reflect their connection to the coast. Each line has been thoughtfully designed to depict the coastlines near their offices around the world, emphasising this connection. #2 – Find ocean inspired patterns across glass and finishes throughout the space, including the coffee table in the reception seating area that beautifully reflects on the walls when it catches the light. #3 – As well as the coastal theme, we wanted to also pay tribute to the company’s Italian roots. In the kitchen you’ll find a tabletop made from recycled denim originating from Genoa, where the business was founded. Concept to Completion #2 – paying homage to the rich history of GPE Bramah House. On discovery of Bramah House’s rich history as a 19th century tea factory, we saw the opportunity to bridge past and present. The space features tea-themed elements including teapot pendant lights, themed artwork and each meeting room inspired by a different flavour of tea, including matcha, peppermint and jasmine. "The concept arose from a want to preserve Bramah House’s unique history as a tea factory and later a locksmith. What developed was a vibrant and airy space that incorporates elements from both companies in a cohesive theme that spans all three floors. Sustainability was also key, and our approach included retaining existing timber floors and finding beautiful, preloved furniture pieces.” – Faith Vipond, Senior Designer. Headquarters anchored in excellence | Welcome to Cambiaso Risso Group - Insurance Broker, Ship Agent and Ship Broker. Cambiaso Risso Group, a maritime services provider with a rich heritage, sought to establish a European headquarters that represented their brand values while connecting seamlessly to their offices across Europe. With our deep understanding of their vision and prior experience with the building, we were perfectly positioned to bring their aspirations to life. A core design element was to ensure the space reflected CR International’s brand and heritage, drawing inspiration from the company’s connection to the sea and its many coastal office locations. The design incorporated fluid, organic lines reminiscent of water, with the reception area featuring custom joinery that mirrors the coast lines of other offices, creating a seamless link across locations. A central core breakout area was incorporated as a flexible space where employees can collaborate or take a break. This area, with its adaptable seating arrangements, encourages interaction and provides an opportunity for relaxation. Design features, including subtle ocean inspired patterns in the glass and finishes, reinforce the maritime connection and create a sense of tranquillity throughout the space.
