🍴Morrisons Cafes, an icon in British supermarkets… Yesterday evening, alongside a number of suppliers and the Morrisons Cafe team, we celebrated the hard work that has gone into transforming Morrisons Cafes. During this special event held at Leeds Kirkstall Morrisons, we heard from Chris Strong Sean Gill and Matt Hinton who shared the latest updates; 💛 Market Leadership: Morrisons holds a 51% market share of all supermarket cafes in the UK. 💛 Customer Satisfaction: An impressive increase to 80%. 💛 Increased Engagement: More card swipe rates have risen by 30% weekly. 💛 High Footfall: The cafes see up to 450,000 customers weekly, offering brands a significant audience. 💛 Average Dwell Time: Customers spend an average of 30 minutes in the cafe. 💛 Pre-Shopping Visits: 65% of customers visit the cafe before shopping in the supermarket. 💛 New Media Opportunities: Over 20 media touchpoints available, including: Window vinyl panels Full-length floor stickers and Digital order points The evening couldn’t have gone ahead without the efforts of the Leeds Kirkstall colleagues and also April Clements Becky W.
