We were pleased to see the Government revive plans for the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Corridor yesterday. The plans include for the delivery of key infrastructure to boost the UK economy by up to £78 billion by 2035. With offices in both Cambridge and Oxford for the last decade we have been helping to deliver new homes, employment sites and key community infrastructure including education and healthcare developments across the corridor. We are also supporting a number of life sciences and research and development schemes across the corridor including nationally significant developments which feed into the UK’s aspirations to be a ’science superpower’. These schemes include District East and The Press in Cambridgeshire and several large life science projects in Oxfordshire that are currently pre-planning. Since 2020 alone our transport planning and engineering teams in Oxford and Cambridge have assessed over 2.5 million sqft of employment, life science and research and development uses and over 30,000 dwellings across the corridor. We look forward to continuing to support landowners, developers, promoters and local authorities in the delivery of sustainable developments across the region. If you require transport planning advice for projects in the growth corridor, please contact James Rand (Oxford) or Will Fayers (Cambridge). #cambridge #oxford #transportplanning #civilengineering

Our Eastern Team had a fantastic time at the #PDQ Networking Event in Northampton earlier this week. Thank you for the great presentations from SCAPE, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT), and Howes Percival discussing a variety of planning topics including biodiversity net gain, and changes to the #NPPF and housing targets which sparked some interesting conversations over lunch. We're looking forward to the next one! #PaulBashamAssociates #Networking #PropertyDevelopmentQuarterly #EasternRegion #Cambridge

Shaan Novitzki and Jake Styles had a great time at the Vail Williams breakfast event this morning! Whilst the weather tried to keep us away, we hid out at Building 1000, caught up with some familiar faces, and made plenty of new connections. At Paul Basham Associates, our Civil Engineering team prides itself on providing hands-on site support! Sometimes we are out to complete surveys such as simple levels and speed checks, and other times our visits are to review construction stage works and ensure our designs are properly implemented. We're here to make sure every one of our projects run as smoothly as possible. Boots on the ground means a better understanding of the site, smarter designs, and ultimately the most successful schemes! Get in touch with us on 01329 711000 or info@paulbashamassociates.com to learn more about how we can support your project 🚧🦺📐 #PaulBashamAssociates #CivilEngineering #Consultancy #SiteVisit #Survey #PPE #Construction
