About us
Resilience Conference is a curated event that will bring together international startups, investors, and customers in security, defence, and resilience. The event serves as a conduit for NATO and Allied Governments and primes to engage directly with the startup founders and investors who are creating the modern defence innovation ecosystem. This small team worked together on events around the world, producing some of the most impactful and innovative technology conferences. We want to turn our skills to helping the tech sector help make our democracies safer from the threats that now face us. Our contribution is to do what we know best - bringing together startup ecosystems to network, learn from each other, and share their lessons with the wider tech sector through media coverage.

Resilience Conference is proud to announce our latest partnership with BAE Systems, who provide some of the world's most advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions. BAE Systems is committed to helping more SMEs and start-ups bring their ideas and technology into the defence sector, so it was a natural choice for them to support us. Resilience Conference is focused on bridging the private tech sector and areas of defence and national security with complex security issues who otherwise find it hard to meet tech founders and VCs. BAE Systems brings a deep understanding of emerging and game changing technologies to this ecosystem via their relationships with academic and industrial leaders as they develop new technologies to support future product strategies. We appreciate their participation and support of Resilience Conference and our mission.

I'm just back from Tallinn, visiting old friends and new contacts to connect Resilience Conference with the incredible work the tech sector there is doing to support Ukraine and to defend Estonia and NATO. Here's some of my takeaways from the trip, including a quote and an observation: Quote: 'you don't win wars with dual-use' Observation: the next Alan Turing is most likely Ukrainian Thanks everyone for the hospitality and great work.

New: hiring talent "is a knife fight" for defence tech startups, VC Nicholas Nelson tells me. Between needing hires with experience selling to governments and security clearances and a shortage of talent that's helped scale hardware businesses in Europe, it's a tough, supply-constrained market out there. And some recruiters predict it could get even worse. My latest for Sifted, with insights from Uroš Zver Edmund Thomson Jones https://lnkd.in/d6-r38Cm
