Case Study No1: Track 2000, Grangetown, Cardiff We're proud to have been part of the Track 2000 residential development overlooking the Millennium Stadium and River Taff in Cardiff – a 5-storey build featuring 74 modern apartments for Hafod. Our timber frame open panel system enabled a fast, high precision construction. The system was supplied with factory-fitted windows and prefabricated parapet panels to help stream line the build further. Our roofing division did an excellent job, a flat roof system with integrated PV solar panels, helping to deliver sustainable energy solutions. Did you know that according to recent figures only 16% of children in Cardiff can swim? Only half of the primary schools in the city are able to send their pupils to learn. Not only is swimming a life skill, but it is enjoyable for children while benefitting health and wellbeing. Unfortunately, the high cost of lessons reduces the opportunity for many children to learn. This week, we have been able to provide swimming lessons for our customer's children during February half term using our Social Value funding. Working in partnership with Better Leisure Centres and Hale Group Ltd , we have been able to offer swimming lessons for 16 childrenat Fairwater Leisure Centre. The children have been very excited to learn, most of them never having had a lesson before. We hope to be able to provide more opportunities like this in the future across multiple locations.
