UCL Faculty of Laws reposted this
What does it take to prepare the next generation of #notaries? A great team! The London sky might have been grey, but the energy at UCL Faculty of Laws was HIGH 🔝 at the all-day workshop organised by the #NotarialPracticeCourse team for our Year 2 students. Back to back sessions on super-practical topics delivered by the true masters in their fields Nicholas Thompson, Jonathan Hewitt and Francesco Meduri, followed by the hands-on workshops, where Charles Henshaw and Elaine Tse added their competence in guiding our students to getting to grips with notarial matters. 🙏🏻 My superwoman co-pilot Lara Gouveia Simonetti cracking on with the day and pulling off a first-of-its-kind stitching workshop, complete with a close-up filming and the students practising their future craft using the real notarial paraphernalia. There was a real excited buzz in the room! 🤩 And it was over all too-quickly… So a loud CHEERS to all of those who helped my team to make this possible one grey Saturday in January (including you, Lisa Penfold!) 😊

Alongside a number of successes, concerns about the adequacy of the Equality Act as the guardian of accessibility will be explored. 🗓️ Thursday 6 February ⏰ 6pm 📍 Hybrid - join online or in person https://lnkd.in/edtpi2_4
